Metaphyseal osteopathy (hypertrophic osteodystrophy) in a puppy
5-months-old female Weimaraner with fever, vomiting, cough and joint pain, as well as pain when opening the mouth. A full body CT-scan was performed.
Retrobulbar abscess and associated optic neuritis and subdural empyema in a dog
5-year-old female Yorkshire terrier, with conjunctivitis and central vestibular syndrome.
An MRI of the head was performed.
Feline lung patchy alveolar pattern with fibrosing pleuritis, bilateral pleural effusion and pneumothorax
7-years-old, male, DSH cat with pleural effusion of unknown origin. Lung alveolar pattern was seen on the X-rays. A thoracic CT-scan was performed.
Diffuse pneumopathy, pulmonary hypertension and multifocal pulmonary thromboembolism in a dog
9-years-old male Yorkshire Terrier with dyspnea and pulmonary hypertension diagnosed by echocardiography. A thoracic CT-scan was performed.
Presumptive lung lobe torsion in a cat
2-year-old male DSH with pleural effusion (chylothorax). Echocardiography did not reveal any abnormalities. An CT of the thorax was performed.
Extrahepatic portosystemic shunt in a dog
11-year-old male neutered miniature Schnauzer. Extrahepatic portosystemic shunt (PSS) is suspected on ultrasound. An abdominal CT scan was performed.
Presumptive lung, pleural, renal and costal musculature metastasis of tubular adenocarcinoma in a cat
9 -years-old female domestic short hair. A tubular adenocarcinoma was diagnosed by biopsy in the dorsal aspect of the thoracic region.
A thoracic CT was performed.
Canine elbow neoplasia with pulmonary metastasis
11-years-old male crossbreed was presented with a mass at the right elbow. A CT-scan of the elbows and thorax was performed
Thoracic spinal mass with extradural extension in a dog
5-year-old male German Shepperd dog with pelvic limbs weakness. A mass at the level of thoracic vertebrae is detected during the general physical examination.
A thoracic spine CT is performed.
Heart-base mass with associated cranial vena cava syndrome in a dog
11-year-old female French Bulldog with edema in the region of the head and neck with increased upper airway sounds. Head, neck, and thoracic CT scan was performed.
Canine erosive joint disease
2-year-old male crossbreed dog, rescued with left forelimb lameness, decreased extension and flexion of the left shoulder and soft tissue swelling.
A shoulder CT-scan was performed.
Abscess and multiple fistulas secondary to a foreign body, causing cholecystitis in a dog
Nine-years old male German Shepherd was presented with recurrent inflammation in different areas of the costal wall and ventral abdomen. He had previous history of foreign body removal (palm tree spike). Dense serosanguinous fluid has been drained from this area and it was consistent with septic exudate. A CT of the thorax and abdomen was performed.
