Heart base tumor

10-year-old female French Bulldog. History of tachypnoea and anorexia. Thoracic X-ray showed displacement of the trachea towards the right and loss of visualisation of the cranial margins of the cardiac silhouette with increased opacity of the cranial lung lobes.

Temporal abscess with intracranial involvement

5-year-old female Yorkshire Terrier. She already came previously for an abscess that was oozing in the right frontal area. Treatment was administered but since the abscess did not resolve, lavages were done and a drain was placed.

Thoracic wall mass

2-years-old male neutered Mastiff with weight loss and apathy. A few weeks ago, a mass was palpated on his right thoracic wall.
Thoracic CT scan was performed for better assessment of the lesion.

Large orbital mass

1-year-old male German Shorthaired Pointer. The ophthalmological exam revealed exophthalmia, mydriasis and absence of pupillary reflex. There is no response to medical treatment during 2 weeks.
MRI of the head was performed.

Sialocele in a dog

12-year-old male Maltese with anorexia. During the physical examination, a submandibular mass was found. The ultrasound revealed anechoic content inside the mass, and the cytology showed a high neutrophil count.

A neck and thoracic CT scan was performed.

Extrahepatic portosystemic shunt in a dog

2-year-old male Yorkshire Terrier, with a history of neurological symptoms. Pre- and post-prandial bile acids and liver enzymes are elevated. Suspicion of portosystemic shunt.

13-year-old male neutered crossbreed. Previous history of cough and mild anorexia. X-rays revealed a possible mediastinal mass.

Splenic torsion

5-years-old female neutered Dogue de Bordeaux. The dog has a history of chronic digestive symptoms and weight loss. Recently the symptoms worsened. Because of the progression of the symptoms, an abdominal ultrasound was performed, revealing a splenic mass which, on cytological examination, is suspected to be histiocytic sarcoma.

Cholangiohepatitis and pancreatitis in a cat

5-year-old male cat. History of weight loss and vomiting, without loss of appetite. An abdominal ultrasound was performed, revealing a reactive pancreas and free fluid in the abdomen.

An abdominal CT scan was performed.
